It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Carole who lost her battle with illness on Tuesday the 12th March at St Leonards Hospice, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Mirfield on the 6th February 1952 to William and Eva Morris and with one sister Patricia, before she moved to Selby in the early 80’s. Carole had a fun and fulfilling life. She was much loved by her Husband Gerald, children Justin and Gerard, Daughter-in-laws Karen and Niki, and Grand Children Seren, Sergio and Sophia along with many relatives and friends.

We would like to express our appreciation to the MacMillan and Palliative Care nurses at York Hospital and the wonderful staff at St Leonards Hospice who looked after Carole with great care & dignity. The funeral service will take place at Pontefract Crematorium on the 4th April at 10.20am followed by a celebration of Carole's life at the Kings Croft Hotel. In lieu of funeral flowers we kindly ask for donations to St Leonards Hospice.
